The radio show MELLOMANIA on Sunshine live exists now already since more than 4 years. DJ Shah and Pedro del Mar moderate the program. Also to the team belong Brian Laruso and Sasha da Link. Here they are supposed to be introduced once nearer:
DJ Shah
DJ Shah is one of today's leading electronical producers in Germany. He started his professional music career in 1996 and reached year after year Top 10 dance chart positions in Germany.
In 1999 he decided to do his first solo single called "Claps". The track went directly to the Top 5 of all dance charts and was supported by most important DJs in Europe. Some weeks later "Claps" entered German Sales Charts without a video!

Since this commercial success DJ Shah plays an important role in the German dance scene. His follow up singles "Commandments" and "Riddim" both reached top 3 positions in all dance charts.
His last productions have been supported by Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto and many many more leading DJs of the scene. He also did remixes for acts like Armin van Buuren feat. Ray Wilson, York, Cosmic Gate, Josh Gabriel (Gabriel & Dresden), Johan Gielen, System F, Thrillseekers, Three Drives, Matt Darey, Luticia McNeal, Sash, Lost Witness and Future Breeze amongst others.

In October 2005 he gave his debut on Tiesto's own label Blackhole with "Shah & Laruso pres. Global Experience" after releasing various other tracks on other international 1st class labels in 2005 such as Ministry Of Sound UK or Ultra USA and reached #23 in UK's sales charts with the project Commander Tom. Furthermore he just signed the deal with Armada for his solo single "DJ Shah meets Jan Johnston – Beautiful (Glimpse of Heaven)" as well as a second project "Sunlounger". Besides the follow up single of Global Experience, Blackhole also signed his project "Savannah" for the world. All these four tracks were be released between February and April 2006.
DJ Shah runs also his own record company with the labels Shah-Rec. and Melo Stripes in Germany as well as starting now with Tsushima (Trance), Tsushima Limited (Vocal), Innovative (Festival) and Magic Island (Balearic, Progressive) four new labels with different styles in the UK.
Together with Pedro Del Mar he runs Germany's leading radio show "MELLOMANIA". Broadcasted each Monday night from 8-12 pm, they have an audience of more than 400,000 listeners. They do also run monthly shows all around the globe, e.g. in USA, Australia and UK.
As a DJ he plays around the world. USA, Greece, Spain, Thailand, France, Hungary, Turkey and Ibiza are just a few countries where he is spinning his special live sets can be described as a journey through electronical music.
Pedro del Mar
Pedro del Mar belongs to the key people in the German dance industry. He is the Managing Director of Shah-Music Germany where he runs seven different labels, own publishing, production company, booking & artist management, studios and an own new media agency.
But Pedro is much more than just another business man:
- as a DJ he plays around the globe (Ibiza, Turkey, France, Greece, Poland, Thailand, Switzerland, Spain, ...)
- as a producer he releases his singles in more than 60 countries world-wide with releases on Blackhole (NL), Tsunami (NL), Nebula (UK), Ministry of Sound (UK) and others
- as a Remixer he works for System F, Johan Gielen, Josh Gabriel, Thrillseekers, Cosmic Gate, DJ Shah, Future Breeze, ...
- as Radio producer he runs with his partner DJ Shah Germany's most successful radio format "MELLOMANIA" with hundreds of thousands of listeners each Monday night and broadcastings on three different continents
Most people believe that he started his career in 2000 directly after passing his High School exams, but in fact he started a few years earlier. In 1998 he already reached Top 20 dance chart positions in Germany, followed by his first #1 radio single in 1999 with "Reality" under his old DJ 2 L8 alias.

In 2000 he started as freelance at Shah-Music where he took care for release schedules and promotions but received more and more responsibilities. In 2001 he released his first Pedro Del Mar single "Harder?!" which became one of the most played tunes during the summer with big support by Judge Jules, Tiesto and all other key DJs. The result was a UK chart entry as well as deals in more than 60 countries on all five continents.
Pedro's follow up singles also reached unbelievable support by the world's top DJs. In the following months and years he played tons of international gigs in various countries, thereunder 6 hours back2back sets at the Privilege openings in Ibiza (the biggest club on earth). But as he became more and more busy with all business at Shah-Music, the time for being in the studio became less and less.
Since early summer 2005 he is again meeting up in the studio with his producer DJ Shah working on his own name beside his usual business work. The results are various Remixes for 1st class acts, such as System F (Ferry Corsten), Josh Gabriel (Gabriel & Dresden), Thrillseekers and Johan Gielen. But he also took the time to finish his first solo single since more than two years "Pedro del Mar feat. Emma Nelson – Feel" which will be firstly released on Tsushima (UK) and Pulsive (GER) and then licenced again around the globe. Big international DJ and Media promotion starts in January and the video shooting is scheduled for early 2006. His co-production on "Global Experience" is instores since october 2005 on Tiesto's label Blackhole!

Pedro is also the Mastermind behind "MELLOMANIA" which is not only famous for its unbelievable radio success, but also for its events and compilation. The show itself is Germany's leading trance and progressive format, broadcasted each Monday evening from 8-12 pm CET at Germany's biggest dance station Sunshine live and guest mixes by all international top DJs, such as Tiesto, Gabriel & Dresden, Armin van Buuren and so on. The show is also broadcasted in the USA, Canada, UK, Hungary, Poland, Netherlands and Australia amongst other countries.
Pedro's DJ sets can be described as a journey through electronical music. He is specialized into the Trance scene but his sets are also influenced by House, Tribal and Progressive music. It must be his special DJ sets that have been honoured with #168 in the UK's DJ Mag in 2005 without having played in UK and the USA and without having released an own single in the past months!!! In august 2005 he played his first Polish tour with thousands of people joining his six exclusive gigs! On NYE he gives his debut in South Africa.
Brian Laruso
The in the year 1980 in Ostfildern Ruit (near Stuttgart) born Steffen Baumgart alias Brian Laruso with his 25 years has brought it as DJ and musicians already far. He belongs in the meantime to the selected DJs and producers, that to publish their tracks on Tiestos label "Blackhole". After "Shah & Laruso pres. Global Experience - Tennessee / Dakar" already the second single of "Shah & Laruso pres. Global Experience - Zanzibar / San Salvador" is released here in May. The title "Zanzibar" appeared at the end of April 2006 also on Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise 05 compilation!

As DJ Brian Laruso offers a global House sound with various influences from different sections of the electronic music. He sends the people with a lot of fun and joy onto a global music trip which remains always interesting and in the case of which one never knows exactly, where it leads stylistically as next one!
In April Brian turns for example in Poland, in May in Istambul and in June in Jakarta (Indonesia) the turntables. In between he is exclusively in the studio in order to work on new tracks for the high quality labels of this world.
One will hear still some of Brian Laruso and his music productions!
